SleepScan

Kaymed developed SleepScan to take the guesswork out of buying a mattress. SleepScan analyses posture, height and weight to allow customers to accurately select the mattress that's right for them.

The the SleepScan was designed and developed for Kaymed by Professor Lee Hubbard, formerly of University College London, and Dr Duncan Bain an academic consultant in the bed industry. Situated in a discrete booth, the device electronically scans the body and provides a detailed report on shape, weight and spinal curvature. By cross referencing this analysis with a database, a list of suitable mattresses is obtained.
